Timothy Vail, Ph.D., Associate Professor with Tenure,

Dr. Vail brings over twelve years experience in biotechnology research, development, and technology transfer to SenesTech. He is currently an Associate Professor of Biochemistry in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Northern Arizona University. Tim holds degrees from Rutgers University (B.Sc.), Fairleigh Dickinson University (M.Sc.) and Lehigh University (Ph.D.), and is also the co-founder, President, and CEO of Blue Mountain Technologies, Inc., an Arizona – based early stage corporation focused on research and development of novel diagnostic platforms. Tim is a former principal investigator for Orasure Technologies, Inc. He has multiple peer-reviewed publications and a substantial portfolio of intellectual property. In addition, he serves on the Flinn Foundation’s Bio-Engineering Committee for the Arizona Biotechnology Road Map, and the NAU Intellectual Property Committee.
